Overview:
Heavy-duty table with particleboard X-base. Table tops are wood-grained laminate for residential appearance. Engineered and proven suitable for continuous use in an institutional environment. Table top has durable molded edge for enhanced durability. Ideal for food service applications. Constructed of environmentally-friendly materials. Choose from a black X-base, or a matching laminate to create a coordinated wood look with top surface.
Fabrication:
Base: Two interlocking base panels.
Top: Laminate permanently bonded to a core of 45 lb. density particle board, with permanently embedded T-nuts for securing top to base with a metal-to- metal connection.
Material:
Laminate Base Panels: 1 1/8" thick 45 lb. density particle board, sandwiched between 1/8" thick hardboard and faced both sides with .050" thick high pressure laminate and banded on three exposed edges with heavy duty PVC. An intermediate mounting plate joins the base to the top.
Laminate Top: 1 1/2" thick edge profile. Decorative high-pressure laminate sealed with a specially formulated, highly durable molded edge (which is made of 65% vegetable oil derivative.) Edge is radiused for safety and pressure fused to the top, rendering it permanently non-removable and highly sanitary. |
