Norix Furniture again this year will showcase its fire station products at the annual Fire Department Instructors Conference (FDIC) in Indianapolis, IN. Norix Furniture solutions are favored by fire stations because of their superior strength, durability, style options and easy-to-maintain surfaces.
The conference, which runs April 23-28 at the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium, includes workshops, classroom sessions, a tradeshow, hands-on training courses and the 9/11 Memorial Stairclimb, “an opportunity to honor and remember the 343 FDNY members who selflessly gave their lives on 9/11 so that others might live,” according to the FDIC website.
Norix, a provider of robust furniture for challenging environments for 35 years, will be located at booth 9433. Attendees are invited to visit with Norix specialists to discuss the company’s durable products and view products, including:
Protégé NextGen Beds – These all steel dormitory beds deliver reliable performance at an outstanding value. They’re made of a welded tubular bed deck and 36” x 80” sleep surface that’s static load tested to 600 pounds. An integrated steel headboard and footboard is available with an optional wood grain laminate headboard/footboard. Additionally, three Titan Drawer Lockers fit perfectly underneath these beds, allowing fire houses to accommodate three shifts of firefighters with one bed.
Titan® Series Steel Case Goods – This series of furniture is made of all steel construction and delivers maximum strength and durability while incorporating laminate accents to create a residential aesthetic. Titan beds, too, can accommodate three Titan Drawer Lockers underneath their sleep surfaces, allowing fire houses to accommodate three shifts of firefighters with one bed.
Comfort Shield Sealed Seam Mattresses – This new mattress product from Norix features a 100 percent sealed seam. The durable covers are fluid resistant and easy to clean, while the foam core is made of long-lasting polyurethane that provides cushioned comfort with no inner springs.
Progress Chair – Progress is a molded polypropylene stackable chair that is perfect for staff use, classrooms and training rooms, as well.
